Read With Max Reading and Fundraising Event Set for August 10th, 2011

On Wednesday, August 10th, 2011, I will be holds my annual “Read With Max” Reading and Fundraising Event. The Event will last a total of four weeks and finish on September 10, 2011. The entire family can participate. It will encourage reading, learning and community service. You can even win prizes for your participation. Calling All DOGS and PEOPLE! Voting Started! Help US and Pass this ALONG!

It's voting time!!! As many of you know I am an award winning children's book Author and partnered with Leader Dogs for the Blind. A portion of the proceeds from my book sales are donated to this organization. Recently, I have worked with Leader Dogs for the Blind in the creation of our newest book "Dogs Work Too!" to tell their story about Leader Dogs for the Blind from a dogs prospective. Since the release of the book, an educational promotional video was created. It has been a really exciting and rewarding project.

This brand new video promotion titled "Read With Max! Childrens Book "Dogs Work Too!" A Story About Leader Dogs for the Blind" has been selected to compete in the 2011 Peoples Telly Award. This competition is conducted online at the Official Telly Awards YouTube website. Voting starts Monday March 28th and continues for 4 weeks.

New Book Coming Out Thanksgiving!

I have been working on my next book. It really is exciting. I spent a lot of time adding photos and making scrapbook pages. The title, "Dogs Work Too! From Max's Point of View" is schedules to be published in November 2010. The book is about Leader Dogs for the Blind. I was able to get a tour from one of there puppies and wrote about my experience. I didn't realize that DOGS WORK TOO! Check back for more updates. Also visit amazon.com to by my activity and coloring book. Part of each sale is donated to Leader Dogs as well.

We are excited to announce that Max will have his own coloring/activity book. Some of you may of seen it at the book signings. We hope to have in available on our website in the next week along with Amazon.com. Part of the coloring book sales will be donated to leader dogs for the blind as well.

LEADER DOG FOR THE BLIND PUPPY DAY! August 25, 2009

Wow, we had a great time meeting all the volunteers and future leader dogs. We raised over $400.00 for Leader Dogs! We were very excited and happy to be invited to the event.

BREAKING NEWS! Max Teams Up With Leader Dogs For The Blind

In todays economy many families are faced with having to move. Charities are also faced with the challenges of having to raise donations. Anthony Majewski and Maximus "MAX" Author of the children’s book, “Dogs Move Too! From Max's Point of View” have teamed up with one of these charities, Leader Dogs for the Blind. Leader Dog is recognized as a “Best In America” Charity by the Independent Charities of America (ICA). Anthony Majewski and Max have agreed that a percentage of their children's book sales will be donated to the Leader Dogs for the Blind. Just like their book, You may not be aware Lead Dogs start out as puppies and move several times during their training process before being place in their forever home. Once these Leader Dogs are placed in a home they enhance the lives of people who are blind and visually impaired.
